Get Registered
Register to Vote
Under Texas law, voter registration applications must be submitted at least 30 days before any election. Registration is permanent as long as you reside within Irving ISD or Dallas County. Applications are widely available at local government offices, public libraries, and Irving ISD campuses.

Fill out the registration application clearly and accurately.

Return it to the voter registrar at any Irving ISD campus or mail it to the Dallas County Elections Department.
Vote Early
Participate in Early Voting
Early voting offers a convenient way to ensure your voice is heard at a time that works best for your schedule. In Texas, the early voting period typically begins 17 days before Election Day and ends 4 days prior. Registered voters in Dallas County can visit any designated early voting location to cast their ballot, with many sites offering extended evening and weekend hours to accommodate Irving families.
Election Day Voting
Election Day is your final opportunity to make your voice heard. On this day, you must vote in person at your specifically designated precinct polling location. Most polls in Dallas County are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please ensure you have a valid form of photo identification and verify your assigned voting center through the official county elections website before heading to the polls.
